We have recently developed a custom Battery Management System for a multi MegaWattHour system that is Lloyd’s Register Type Approved. This system provides all required (safety) functions and more. It supports up to 1000V applications and up to 240kWh per pack, with up to 32 packs in parallel on a single CANbus. The system is designed for low energy use while in use and near zero energy use when turned off.
